Christmas 2026
Hoardsy opens to real-money entries on Tuesday 1 December 2026 with a Christmas lineup. Dates and prizes below are read from the live record, so they match the site on the day you read them.
Dates
- Tuesday 1 December: paid entries open.
- 1 to 25 December: one free advent door a day.
- Christmas Eve draw: entries lock at midnight when door 24 closes; the result shows behind door 25.
- Thursday 26 November: The Christmas Drop is drawn live at 21:30.
Advent calendar
A free door every day from 1 to 25 December for each signed-in player aged 18 or over in Great Britain. Every door holds site credit: 1 × £10, 2 × £5 and 20 × £1. The big doors add one top prize: door 1 (£50), door 12 (£50), door 24 (£50) and door 25 (£100). The chance of a prize on an ordinary door is 1 in 22.1, and each prize is shown on its door. Site credit can be spent on entries but cannot be withdrawn, and it does not expire. Doors open while Hoardsy is open for entries, from 9am on 1 December.
Each door opened from 1 to 24 December is also one entry in the £250 Christmas Eve draw. Entries lock when door 24 closes, and the winner comes from the first public random number published after that.
The Christmas Drop
A ticket costs 25p. Entries close on Thursday 26 November at 21:00 and are locked. The winner is then picked at 21:30 by the first public random number published by drand, a network no one at Hoardsy controls. The draw is streamed and anyone can check the result on the public record and how results are checked. The draw is never extended and its prize is never reduced. What each competition pays back
Prize value per £1 of tickets if every ticket sells, counted as the prizes really pay out. Fewer sales mean more back per £1, because the main prizes are drawn whatever sells.
