Tickets and chances
- Ticket price: 50p.
- Most tickets that can be sold: 6,870. One ticket’s chance of the main prize is 1 in 6,870 at worst, and better if fewer sell.
- Closes: Sunday 20 December at 9pm. A public drand random number published 30 minutes later picks the winner from the locked list of tickets.
- Instant prizes: every ticket also plays Spotlight once and reveals an instant prize result straight away.
The competition’s own summary: Win a PS5 Pro and GTA VI worth £859.98, drawn from every ticket at the close, whatever sells. The winner can take £688 cash instead. Every 50p ticket also plays Spotlight: seven numbers are yours, ten are drawn, and three or more matches win one instant prize: seven matches win £10, six matches win £2, five matches win £1, four matches win 50p, three matches win 25p. The board only shows the result saved before it starts. 25p is less than the ticket price. The £10 instant prize is guaranteed to be won: if nobody wins it instantly, it is drawn from every ticket at the close too. Some prizes are released in two batches: 4 of the 8 £10 prizes can be won from the start and 4 more once 3,435 tickets have been entered; 43 of the 85 £2 prizes can be won from the start and 42 more once 3,435 tickets have been entered (paid and postal entries together). This schedule is fixed and never changes, and the chances shown always count only the prizes released so far. 6,870 tickets. Free entry by post is available.
The competition page is the final word: it shows every prize and its chance before you enter.

A postal entry has the same chance as a paid ticket. Your letter must arrive before the close on Sunday 20 December at 9pm, and December post is slow, so send it early. How to enter by post.
How the draw is checked
Entries lock at the close, before the random number exists, so nobody can pick the winner. Anyone can redo the maths on Fairness.
